So that's what sun and blue skies look like? lol! It's been grey skies and rain here since Saturday. I am hoping it clears up soon or at least warms up a bit before Easter actually gets here.

When the REAL Easter starts here, that's on Maundy Thursday (?), the weather forecast is not so good.
The weather is one of those things that keeps coming and going! :)

My Easter started last Sunday (Palm Sunday) and this week I use as a time of reflection of what Jesus has done not only for me but for all, Easter Sunday I find as a sad and happy day, the stone has been rolled away and I now give thanks to cloudy days..........

In South East Queensland over Easter we are in for rain which I do love the clouds as I know he will return on the clouds...

Happy Easter Everyone

Weather back-cast for today.
You may not believe it, but it actually started to snow again.
Not much but it was still snow.
Tomorrow we may not have to leave town to go skiing. :)

Surprisingly, the beautiful weather broke through here just in time for Ostara. It's a little chilly, but I'll take the chill for a break from the rain we had for the couple days previous (as much fun as it is to try to videotape a thunderstorm). :p

Sorry I can't send you a picture from my window. My bluetooth is not working so I can't transfer from the camera.
It's all white now. About 3 inches of snow has fallen during the night, and it's still snowing. The janitor has been here with his tractor and plow. We planned to go visiting my mother-in-law today, but I don't like the thought of driving. It's a holiday and I guess they don't clear the roads very early.
Those who love to ski can put them on at the front door.

That's Norway in Easter.
Now my wife Lise is coming with two boiled eggs....
I Love my woman! :)

And great big hugs to you all!

Good Friday at 7 PM:
We've had about 6-8 inches of snow here in Oslo, and up to 2 feet other places. Total chaos on some roads (and some are closed) because we were unprepared for this weather. Many have changed to summer tires.
Those who have taken their Easter holiday in the mountains have a wonderful time with all the new snow, but many cars have snowed in or been plowed in and some may have trouble returning home over the weekend.
In Sweden a bus has blown off the slippery road, injuring the driver and some passengers.
We planned to go away today but chose to stay home.

Happy Easter Surfing, and enjoy your weather!

The clock shows 7AM.
The sun is shining on the other side of the valley (We have evening sun here) and the sky is clear blue.
The thermometer shows -11C, which is about 10F I think. Quite chilly for this time of the year.

Lots of people can really enjoy the nice weather and snow conditions here. This is Easter like we always dream about.

We had the snow that was promised us overnight - about an inch, but it is melting fast again. The wind has dropped for the time being too :)

Saturday Evening, at 6:30PM:
Weather has been very nice all day. Rose 20C from this morning, to the warmest part of the day when we had about 10C / 50F.
Sun has been shining all day, but I've stayed inside, programming on the computer so I haven't been able to enjoy it much.

The evening news have told us that some places have had up to 3' of heavy, wet snow. Trees have broken and fallen over power lines. Some have been without electricity for 24 hours. People who need pumps to get water, must manage without.

I'm glad I'm not living in a place like that. Imagine what it would be for me to be unable to use my computer! :)

Two days to go ....
Stay up late to read the Norway Easter Weather Forecast (and back-cast! :) )

Easter Sunday 7AM.
The original forecast was not at all bad!
The weather is still exceptionally good, with sunshine and a blue sky. The temperature is down to -15C, or about 4F. I don't think it's been so cold all winter, and beware, this is in the South of Norway, near the sea. I should think that it's much colder other places.
But in spite of the cold some of the snow has disappeared already. When the sun is shining it vaporizes and disappears without actually melting.

Who was ever talking about global warming? :)

Back to PMs and the forum ... :)

Happy Easter Surfing!

90? That would be an all time high here, even for summer! :)

We did Easter at my Mom's.....there was 16 of us all together. My Mom hid eggs for the little ones, 5 and 7. The day worked out great. Nice and sunny.

Easter Monday, 7AM.
Not so nice today, but what the .... it's the last day of Easter and those who have been in their cabin until today are probably just packing their things and loading the car. If they can find it in the snow! :)
The temp is about -9C/27F, and if the sun don't shine it will probably remain chilly during the day.
We're planning to visit my mother-in-law today, because all the snow prevented us from going on Friday (or was it Thursday? :) )
It's time for summer tires after this snow has gone. We'll drop in to the storage room and get them so we're ready for the swap.
Makes me wonder: Why are car wheels getting bigger and heavier all the time.... :)
