Critique my blog please

I am new to blogging, so I'm not sure of myself yet. I only have an intro and two posts. I just want to make sure I'm on track with it before I continue with it.

Right now I'm blogging about traffic exchanges, but I may expand this to include other marketing topics.

I'd appreciate any advice on looks, content, coding errors you may see, etc.

Edited to add: I have tweaked the font colors some. I think it should be easier to read now.

1) Right menu is hard to read
2) Use Feedburner.com to do your feeds (and get the wordpress plugin they have for it). That way you can see how many are subscribing, and display the number at some point ;-)

Is it the colors of the text and background or is it the text size? Something else?

its very nicely balanced look like you used css template to create it :)

I like the image at the top though the dark grey could be more of a pastel colour to go with it as it looks a bit harsh the way it is.
just a minor point but I have always found that white text on a black background is difficlut to read. But yours is a nice font and its quite clear to me :)

Well, I took a ready made template, and I've been tweaking it. So, I can use all the advice I can. I don't always know what is easy for others to view.

Hi I wasnt criticizing the use of a css template why make life harder and do it from scratch lol

To be honest I use css template and adapt them to my use and Im sure most people do at some point.

I like the site in fact the way the pic is divided with the red is really cool

In fact I actually read the content as well whereas usually I skim read (sorry folks) Its well thought out and interesting content for a first blog you have done a good job :)

Wow. Thanks. I do a lot of writing in my spare time, mostly fiction. I'm comfortable with that, but I've never really written stuff like this before. I'm glad to know it's good. I have notes scribbled all around my computer with ideas for future posts. So, I should have more content soon.

My cat Tinker frequently sits on my lap as I work at the computer. He'll occasionally paw at the keyboard, but he doesn't write as well as I do. ;)

Is the font is too small? I've had a few people tell me it is. So, I've made the font bigger.
