Perhaps some of you might be thinking "I am not getting enough traffic to my sites." NOTE: IF you want more traffic delivered to Your Site(s), You must Change the Rate setting...

Here is a recap of How to (http://forums.startxchange.com/showpost.php?p=394&postcount=1)Properly Set Your Rate of Delivery (http://forums.startxchange.com/showpost.php?p=394&postcount=1) - There are over 100 websites in rotation, which at the current rate without any credits being added will be in rotation for well over a month!

So, if your goal is to spread them out for a month or more...That's great, you have accomplished what you wanted! But, if you want to receive higher volumes of traffic, you need to set your rate

Step 1: Goto the Website Page

Step 2: Click on "Rate" next to the website you wish to modify

Step 3: Enter the Rate (number of hits to send per day)
Free members can go up to 500 per day
Upgraded members can go up to 1000 per day
Step 4: Click Save

You will notice on the main websites page, where each URL is, there are 2 bars. A smaller bar, and a larger bar. These 2 bars are next to each website, and they represent the Rate & Total Assigned percentages. It is an easy way to see if you need to increase the Rate, since the default value Rate is set at (100) without clicking every page.

Question: "If everyone sets their rate to 500, what is the probability of getting all 500 hits in a day?" - terry40390

Answer: At this point in time, everyone with 500+ credits assigned to a URL, and a rate of 500 credits would expect to receive 500 hits a day...HOWEVER, The vast majority of members do not have 500 credits assigned to their URLs, (or even 500 credits) so that issue does not arise --- Don't forget that if we were to continue the experiment over a period of time, the daily AVERAGE surf requirement to get 500 credits delivered would be in excess of 1000 sites, so there would be no problem in delivering the 500 hits --- DeHawkinz

Let's us review what types of sites you Can and Cannot add into rotation:

Site Rules (from T.O.S. (http://www.startxchange.com/tos.php))
- Your site may only contain ONE pop up
- Your site may not close the surf frame
- Your site must be primarily in English
- Your site may not contain prompts or alerts or anything else that must be closed before surfing can continue
- Your site may not contain fly in ads, or other popups that move on the screen
- Your site must not attempt to automatically download files
- You may not advertise any surf pages (referal urls are ok)
- Your site may not contain illegal content
- Your site may not load banned sites in iframes
- Your site must be family-friendly
- Your site must not be an investment surf (auto or manual)
- Your site must no be a "Paid to Promote" website, or load them inside your page.
- Sites can be removed for reasons not listed above if it negatively affects surfing.

NOTE: DO NOT add Your StartXchange Referral URL into Rotation (that's mine as an example http://www.startxchange.com/?referer=msbeejay) or add a Rotator with Your StartXchange Splash Page URL! (that's mine for an example http://www.startxchange.com/splash.php?referer=msbeejay)

By following those Rules, you will not have any problems with the site(s) you add into rotation!
