US Detectives

I couldnt leave out the US detectives now could I there are so many I will be naming ten any others you like you will have to post them :)

I can think of one or two Moonlighting with cybil sheppard and Bruce willis

the ellery queen mysteries

at the moment I am watching Justice which admittedly is about lawyers but its really good anyway

is a clear number one with me.
I prefer detective series to be serious, and some of the above mentioned are far from that.

David Caruso also played for a while in NYPD Blue, and I was sorry he left. But in came Jimmy Smits, and they were back on track.

However, Andy Sipowitz (Dennis Franz) carried the whole series. I would like to see more of him.

Other favorite actors from NYPD Blue:
Bill Brochtrup, Gordon Clapp, Kim Delaney, Amy Brenneman (also in Judging Amy), Henry Simmons, Nicholas Turturro, Joe Spano.

Melina Kanakaredes also visited NYPD Blue shortly. She now plays in one of hte other popular series by Steven Bochco; I don't remember which.

Thinking it over: I seem to remember some of the actor's names, but I can't remember their role names.
Except Andy Sipowitz, of course.

Mine is Murder She Wrote. Cannot remember her name though. I do not watch alot of tv now though. Plus you hads not mentioned Hardy boys. Weren't they detectives?

Law and Order SVU is the best
