Hi All

A new prize has been added to the prize page, you can win a coupon on your next credit purchase from anywhere between 10-200%! The coupons will expire between 1-7 days from winning them, and the advertise page will always choose the biggest % coupon first.

Also note that the impressions prizes should be larger, I realized there was a bug that was causing it to have minute numbers. So you'll see that increase too!

Hi Tim,

I know you will continue to improve SX from comments or suggesstions posted by members eventhough you can't respond to everyone of them & there are others who will respond with what they think.

With your continued interviews with Owners from other TEs, you have shown a lot of concern already & you surely know when to act.

I know on the 'single digit 'Impressions Awards after 100views, you will surely rectify it because you might not notice it, if members don't voice out. I believe now everyone who won the Impressions would be very happy now including those who might just say it's an extra incentive already. Mentallity on this is very much different now.

It shows it was used, so you did receive an extra 1000 credits with the purchase. You might have had the advertise page cached locally so you didn't see it, but the IPN saw it ;-)

It is an additional amount of credits depending on which package you purchase within the alloted time frame...

I use credits to reward my team members for their activity. Credits will always come in handy, but coupons won't always be used. I sure can't use all mine! :)

Seriously, where I live you can't get anywhere in less than 30 minutes, usually an hour. And I'm in health care, which requires driving to visit patients. I'm burned out in my field and I have health issues. I want and need to work at home. I realize I haven't been doing this long enough to see if it will pay off, but it is a lot of time I don't really have.

Besides, if you surf enough to get to all the prize pages you probably never buy credits (I know I don't). The ones who really need the coupons are the ones who buy credits and don't surf. Or do a lot of you supplement your earned credits with purchases? This whole thing just confuses me so I would really like to know what others think.

Personally I couldn't care less about the impressions. I have so many more than I will ever use! I have traced banner clicks before and they are so few you might want to go and hide. I don't even bother to trace them any more, although I do know where the clicks come from. (the referer is kept; I just can't distinguish banner clicks from other clicks).

Of course, if you want rewards that count and are fair to the members, perhaps it would be an idea to find a team that might suit you better? :)

one way of looking at it is "how much is my surf time worth?" ie. if it is 'cheaper' to buy than surf, especially if you get a 2 for 1 ( or 100% coupon) offer, then buy them :)

Maybe Tim could add an 'auction' page to the site, where people can buy coupons for credits ;)

I think it should also be possible to convert impressions to credits.

Today I have more than 221,000 unused impressions. My banners have had 129708 views total, and 45 clicks. I don't know if other members see similar numbers, but I see banner impressions as almost worthless. I collect at least a couple of thousand of them every day, but I know that they'll never be used.

When I receive 945 impressions on the prize page (I just did) I don't even shrug my shoulders. But of course, I don't click to get credits or impressions -- or even coupons, because I hardly need to purchase credits. I click just for the fun and excitement of the competition, and for the satisfaction of winning the daily draw once in a while.

I agree to all those who wants to have the transfer or conversions options. I think in this way so called "the inside market network" will increase the inner movement in this TE, i mean the mobility in any direction. The more option we have the more members will be more active for one or other reason.
So if i don't like banners, i can have credits, if i don't want to buy i can make other one happier. And why not also the option to convert in cash?

I have bought credits, and I surf for credits - to be able to buy StartXchange credits at the rate of 500 credits per dollar is a great deal!!
Consider this: how long will it take you to surf 330 sites? (assuming 1:1 ratio and 50% surf bonus) If we allow for 5 sites a minute, to give time for slight delays in loading and finding the right shape, that would take you 1 hour 6 minutes. Are you willing to surf for 90 cents an hour? Obviously most people will take longer than this to reach the 500 credits mark, and so it would be an even lower figure for their surfing time value.

So roll on the coupons Tim!!

I surf far too much to need to purchase under normal circumstances. I couldn't possible spend all those credits without spamming the exchange.

However, I have purchased credits also, because of tempting offers and the need to fill up so I could share credits with my loyal team members.

The only credits I have bought are what comes with my upgrade. I am disabled and really can not do much but surf, survey's, and PTR's. It is not much money but it let's me upgrade in a few programs and buy some of the products I see as I surf. I seem to have gotten off the subject. I have not as yet bought any credits but it is good to know that if I need to buy some I can use a coupon.

I am an upgraded member so when I surf I can get a better surf ratio and more for my advertising and conversion rates. I dont usually purchase credits on SX, haven't needed too as they are in good supply whan surfing regularly.

200% coupon I have yet to see that one, I've only seen like 1 or 2% coupons so far, and that is a waste of time to click for like well winning 9 impressions etc., IMO.

I prefer and like the options of trading credits to banner impressions and vice versa would be great too.

How about the option of a coupon, credits or impressions won on each click or about half of the prizes offered have available options of choice?

Oh and I do like winning the larger banner impressions too.

oh one more thing, I really like that most of SX prizes won while surfing are immediately won, except the coupon, unlike other big exchanges that you have piddly winnings automatic or you have to email everyday for your winnings.
I dont send in those emails ever and alwasys lose those credits in those exchanges.
