Important Surfbar Question

I've noticed that the surf bar stats that tell me how many of my team members are surfing and the number of actual team members who are surfing don't jive.

Right now the surfbar tells me that 6 of my team are surfing when only 4 names are in bold black letters.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I forgot to add something to this post, sorry Tim. Thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak. Would you please fix our team name? It reads Power but our name is PowerSurfers...

The counts are cached, and updated at varying intervals. The surfbar is every X minutes, but the teams page is triggered by you viewing it.

As for team name.. That is the "short" name. It's supposed to show a shortened version on the stats page so you can see the stats.

I had noted the discrepancy but decided that there was a batch process running every so often. Thx for the explanation Tim.

Hi success...,
Our team name is "TeamCleanLiving", but it went "Team Clean" here in the forum.
Obviously it's for space's reasons, it doesn't need the crystal sphere.
I too noticed the discrepancy about team surfers, but of course it is happening for update reasons.
