I have been having problems with lack of ram on my laptop and no I still havent gone and brought any yet. The other day my computer was grinding along at a snails pace while using the internet and I come across this little prog called finitysoft memory manager it manages your ram for you freeing up ram that isnt being currently used and giving it back to you for example my lexmark printer takes up ram space and very rarely does it free up when you stop using the printer. The memory manager can free the ram for you either automatically when you get down to a figure of ram you set or you can do it manually. Its very easy to use and I found it very helpful

Im including the link in case any of you want to try it out.

thats what I liked about it the smallness of it :)

if you run out of system resources tho it can be a bit persistent about complaining but then thats what it should do lol

Rev Joy,

Your software is great. HOWEVER be careful of the FinityNetworkmonitor that you can download from the same link you posted. Accoring to DAP ZoneAlarm this may be a high risk piece of software.....

No alarm on your suggested software. I like it!

I have been caught out once by a network monitor and wont take that risk again if I can help it. The one I got downloaded in the background on the back of another program I was downloading if I wasnt using a limiteds account at the time I would have been non the wiser. Using the linited account meant all off a sudden my internet connection died because the monitor needed admin privileges so thank heavens for limited accounts on XP the one good thing about XP lol
