Today's first page completely freezes and crashes my browser. The only way I can surf is by blocking the site with AdBlock. :(
Is anyone else having the same problem?

The Wedding site is running a java script and that is causing your problem.
Just block it, that's the only thing you can do, it causes a long load time on my browser.
I have to state thought that I have my browser set to not accept scripts..I have had my fill of garbage, virus, ect. and learned my lesson.

Yes, it was that wedding lingerie site.
I don't have scripts blocked because I need to check pages on my site and if I forget to turn it off, I might approve a site running nasty scripts. I did have scripts blocked previously.

You were lucky, I blocked that site even before it was first page
NO WAY am I letting scripts in..screwed me up TOO many times
In fact I run 3 anti-virals and spybot, firewall, no scripts or cookies and still had some
crap get in from here that I had to remove...x-changes are full of garbage that can
infect your computer

bluetulip, I have IE set up specifically with lower settings on one computer (but keep my security software updated and active) just for testing. You may want to consider setting up a similar situation - one browser for your regular surfing and another for checking websites. It's not a perfect solution but you'll be less likely to get some mean surprises from bad scripting.
