It seems to me the surfing bonus doesn't now work properly.

Did maybe surfing bonus rules change?

Hi

If you click the % in the surfbar, it'll show a page with the current bonus rules. That'll also tell you which you are getting credit for. If you see one on there you should have, but don't, you can send me a PM. Just remember some of them change automatically so it can seem they dis-appear and re-appear ;-)

That would be the nightly cron script having to be run during the day! I just fixed it, everyone should get the bonus now ;-)

This is actually due to the fact that 'yesterday' was only a few hours of today
Because Tim did a manual cron job to generate the Splash Page Activity Points, it reset the surf data, so the 'day' was over prematurely.

I think the error is another, because of both "short" days I surfed 20+ pages before the end of short day.

Maybe you still have to investigate.

Just sent you a PM about the 20-pages surfing bonus, so you can ignore that part since you just fixed it (thank you).

But please address the Super Saturday question in that message. My team is all wondering if we are now surfing for Sunday stats due to the reset because we're not noticing any additional activity points for our surfing today. If we just ended up with 2 Saturdays (one ending early this morning and one we are now surfing), is the Super Saturday now over? And how will that be handled in the daily points page that is used to determine our Activity Level? Will there be 2 entries for the 15th, giving us only 13 actual days to base this on?

This is really getting confusing.

I could see additional activity points before and after the reset. Go to "View My Points" and check it out.

Although the surfing total was reset due to the cron job running, NOTHING ELSE was reset - so you were still surfing for the 15th, and your activity points will reflect this.

It looks to me like the surfing bonus is based on your own efforts rather than the number of members surfing each day...

Was just wondering since my surfing bonus has not gone above 44% even if there are over 150 members surfing?

It has dropped down if the number of members surfing decrease but has not gone any higher than 44%...
