You don't do advertising here, except you can have up to 4 links in your signature to show what you represent.
The TE itself (StartXChange) is for advertising, the forum is for discussing various aspects, primarily regarding StartXchange and marketing in general. The team forums may be more liberal and have their own rules, but then you only communicate with your own team members.
