Sugestion: You must remember last position, and enable continue surfing from this list position.

If you are talking about the ranking system, it changes dynamically because it's based on everyone's surfing. If it were static and only based on your surfing it wouldn't change while you are away ;-)

(by based on everyone, it's you vs everyone else so if they surf while you are away, they can pass you, then when you come back you pass them, etc)
