Hi
I posted in the old forum way back back about my father being rushed into hospital.

I just wanted to update the kind people I know who are thinking of us.

He is able to walk a little now which he couldnt before christmas. In the last few months he was diagnosed with COPD and then a couple of weeks ago was rushed back into hospital with puemonia. But once again he was high and lifted up he is now home again and he was talking this morning about planting in his garden again.

We as a family know he wont be running the marathon or backpacking or camping anymore all things we loved together but I have my father back and he is well enough to think of the future.

So thank you to all these net friends I have in the forum.

Thank you for the update on your father. It's
great to hear that he is planning on planting
a garden. That way he will be able to appreciate
the work he does at his own pace.

You know I find it sad to see him as he now I guess that we all believe our family is strong and capable espeacilly our dads and able to protect us forever. But I do rejoice in his life and that he is able to be with us for example he is coming to stay at our house for a holiday a couple of times a year and he sits in my conservatory doing his drawing and commenting on life and we are closer than ever my mum is being pulled down by his illness as are the rest of the family but we have dad with us and that is enough.
