Why do you upgrade?

Hi All

Just a simple question.. Why do you upgrade in one exchange over another? Or do you upgrade in all of them if they meed a certain criteria? Please post any additional thoughts below and please select two of "I am" options

I am upgraded in a few exchanges a couple because I was given the upgrades by the owners both amcs scripts

and I upgraded in royal surf because it was a one off special that will never go up as long as I stay upgraded as well as the benefits I got a pretty good deal

SX I am a platinum member of orginally upgraded because again it was an unmissable offer

so go for the bargains :)

Well, besides the spending spree I have been on the last couple of months, I tend to upgrade in exchanges that have rankings. Or have offered some kind of special.

StartXChange is the only TE I have upgraded at. It was mostly a combination of team leader requirement, low cost, and quality benefits. I'm here to advertise, not collect ebooks and twenty extra 'free gifts' that are really third-party memberships with their own OTOs.....;)

I used to surf a lots of TEs before as a free member. With the experience I finally got rid of some unefficient ones and upgraded to the rest, including StartExchange. I use now 8 TEs, I'm upgraded in 6 out of 8. In my opinion upgrading is worth it: increased ratios, increased bonus, random referrals, more credits per month etc...

I forgot earlier, I do have a thing for accepting the one-month-free 'special' memberships. They help me decide which TEs are worth considering the upgrades. And one such freebie upgrade contributed to me deciding one traffic exchange I did not want to pay for.

I generally Upgrade in Exchange that have Payment Portals OTHER THAN PayPal
and I am an UpGraded "Platinum" Member with SX

I am upgraded only on SX because of the low cost and benefits associated with being upgraded.

all the added benefits and the superior support
in place how could one go wrong. All the little
things that you have implemented along the way

I am upgraded in SX and a few other exchanges. Upgrading helps get to know an exchange better. If it doesn't work well I cancel the upgrade, sometimes, even the exchange.
Usually take free upgrade trials and good OTO's.
Startxchange is one of only 2 exchanges that I have been upgraded in for a years.

Hey Tim,

You've missed an important aspect, the quality of surfbar security!

I don't like to upgrade on exchanges that have an insecure surfbar (i.e. easy to cheat).

EDIT: No matter how highly ranked or popular they are!!

I like my hard earned credits going to real viewers, not robots.

On a side note: I'll be upgrading on SX as soon as I get my next monthly paycheck!

Well, i'm upgraded in some good TEs, as well as SX. In general i upgrade only if there are more than one criteria like: surf ratio, additional offers, hits delivering and so one. So if the "whole picture" satisfy me i upgrade, if not i prefer to stay as a free member.

I upgrade if the upgrade benefits outstrip the free benefits by far. I also upgrade in an exchange I believe is of quality and where I would want to build a downline. Adding commission in $ terms in SX is another reason to remain upgraded here!

I upgrade in programs that work by delivering clean hits and that I get signups from. SX is tops in both. I am very pleased that we now get commissions - the icing on the cake.

I don't think that's right, Noemi. If you upgrade, your earnings will increase. Without it, you'll be on standby.

They say nothing is free. Without upgrading in various systems, your chance of making an income will be very limited.

Select TEs that pay commissions, use downline builders, and choose good, solid products and services that can give you a long-term income.

If it's free, how will you get paid? :)

I just got a free platinum upgrade for 24 hours at the surf 100 prize page, but my surfing ratio is still the same. So which part of the free upgrade are active and when are they active? Thanks in advance!

I've only upgraded at 2 of the 12 exchanges i'm a member of, the 1st being startXchange. I upgraded simply because the fee was very reasonable, both exchanges produce excelent results and the extra bonuses are great too.

well...as for me i only upgrade when the TE is producing result...i am in 8 TE but only upgraded startexchange for now...mainly is for the extra credit and the banner exchange ratio...currently looking into upgrading at trafficG(their banner imp producing real good result)...

In the real world, the more you put in the more you get out. That's balancing the books. If you don't want to make money, don't make any effort and don't pay any price. It's as simple as that.
Maximize your efforts: Boost your energy by upgrading and give yourself a much better chance to make money.

If you keep waiting for the money to roll in, they just won't come. Nothing is free, not even money. Do not ever expect to make money from a "free" system. You'll be fooled every time.

If time is money for sure money may be time too.

The fact is that I know the cost on the market, and marketing.

So... If i may do, I buy spot on TV or radio and so on.

If I want to pay, it would be for a marketing campain. Surfing traffic exchanges or views is part of marketing tools.

I have to sell some of my products and after make a budget for expand my market.

So that it is, I do not act like an "Internet business" or surf for making money but want to think and decide like a traditional enterprise adapting to new ways of today's customers habits.

It is long way sometime to get over our goals but we learn and build much better through the road going to. Starting fast and get the money on table is not always wise.

We have to be ready and running about opportunnities but act always like we do not have money and not waiting for miracles pushing us to glorious trend. ( A lot of rich peoples had live a long time or all the time like if they are poor peoples maiking rich lives instead of living rich, whlie they were furnishing work, payroll for others. Often all makes money working for a boss before the boss get out of poverty or became rich.)

That's things I learn through experience and coaching people too.

Some people think they needs money for be able to... and for this, and that... Or thinking they need a situation change, waiting always for something instead of acting positively their own live, doing the great or little things everday.

I saw both of them, waiting or having, most of times failing their goals.

So I do little surf everyday for a while and reposition my "pions" while I do get changes.

It is another fact too !

I prefer 1% of 100 persons instead of 100% of one or 100% of my own. Ford.

This is why the way using by most Internet business is effectively winner as long as a person is as concern about the success of all and the respect of her own live and goals.

Upgrading in a TE will save you time, and thereby money.

Even if the TE doesn't pay you back directly, you'll have better results, sell more, make more money when you're upgraded.

You can even buy credits and let the rest be automatic, without spending any time.

Don't think for one monment that the "big dogs" are not paying for services they use. Nothing useful is free. You pay, one way or another.

If you keep thinking "I can't afford it!" you never will.

I am not a cheap person.

Also when I use something I try to care about. Probably learn it from Amerindians stylelife, Premieres Nations.

I do link to exchange when it is possible, but not on my customers websites.

My time have a great value. If I give one or two hours a day for websites of all of you here, I think I pay the views which will go on mine.

If Tim had only paid members, nobody to look at theirs concerns, He will do for pleasure or for charity, but never have nothing except may be for his "wish lists" and customers will go away if they really need their websites being seen.

So Tim -and members too- needs both and for the moment, as long as my customers do not make money with my adds, I pay of my own time.

If for you my time without money has no value... It is an opinion not necessary a fact as long as you don't need my own money for survive.

If it is I open right away a Charity Fondation.

Anyway, people who estimated only money for money do not understand that what is a real value is


ENERGY.

What give to money a value ? Energy use to create things.

This is why our money is poor instead the Petrodollars of the Hezbollah really mean something for Syrie, Liban or petro-countries.

This is why asiatics peoples fabric so much at a low price, because the energy they exploit, is in the number of people for doing things. they have lot of time to sell.

Why wood is free if you may have a land in Québec ? Or we may use wood instead of others products ? Because here, this is easy -supposed to be but mondialisation and monopoles- to create wood, use and entertain. Same in some countries in Africa.

But our time is precious instead we are less people and PIB is not our time but space and natural products. So we decide to send in others countries for develop because the have time and we needs our products being transformed but our time is limited.

So time is a great value. Add to it, concern, experience, knowledge, heart...

I feel very fairplay with Tim to give him my own time in exchange of having him let see to others my adds while I let see his add in all place I may do it.

This is the only exchange I upgrade in - and for multiple reaons:
*I love this exchange and the members
*It's a great prcie
*We get great benifits for upgrading
*I'm an impulse buyer (not a great reason, but true)

I am an upgraded member st Startxchange, also a pro-member at 3 other exchanges. I limit my pro-upgrades to 5 sites or less and rotate the bottom 3 based on where my traffic seems to be coming from based on my surrent tracking statistics for the prior month.

Right now, I am a free member at all my exchanges. I like exchanges where you can win or earn upgrades because sometimes (like now) I have to spend my money on gas and electricity. During the spring and fall, I sometimes buy upgrades in my favorite exchanges. For some reason, both gas and electricity are cheaper then. So is food. : )
