Tim,

I've sent out an invitation to join my team and it seems it doesn't reach the destination.
The first time I tried I got an error, so I tried again and got the same error.
I send a regular PM to the recipient and he confirmed that he had NOT received the invitation.

When I invited again today I didn't get the error, but the recipient has still not received it.

Something almost equal happened to me in old forum.

This is only a wild stab in the dark, but did the invite go to the old forum PM system?
All the new 'manual' PMs are coded to the new forum, and so show on the PM count, but being an auto-script, it may still be going to the old forum system. Just a thought

Could be -- Invitations don't go to my "sent" folder, so I'll have to check with the recipient.

Good thought, De - Thanks!

OK, we have found the bug - they go to your new PM folder, but are going out without a title and dated to 1969/1970

we will get this fixed - in the mean time you will have to be patient if your team is private :)

Well I'm extremely patient, but what about the poor souls who are looonging to get their invitation to this wonderful team? :) :)

Well......
you could turn the private only function off Inge:)
The only teams really affected are those over 100 members who are forced to be private.

I know De, and if necessary I will, temporarily.
Actually I feel that we're much happier being private -- especially me because it's less work. Going public for a week like we did last month was a great success, but next time we do that it will only belong enough to let some special people in! :)

A couple of other quirks about teams:

A "PM" from the team leader's list goes to the private area in the OLD forum, instead of the new.

A member joined our team today WITHOUT being invited. This member is welcome since he has a high rank, but it shouldn't happen in a private forum.

When I'm in the form: The text in the form scrolls up for absolutely no reason when I move the mouse pointer outside of the form. It's very disturbing.

All PMs sent from the main website should either:
- Goto the new forum
- Die and go nowhere

None should be ending up at the old forum. This is because only one file has the send pm function, and it's changed to the new forum. (I was smart and did the function thing) The problem is some areas the PM is formated in a way that breaks it. This *should* be fixed as I type this, but only time will tell ;-)

Well Tim, I just sent a PM to myself. I came into the old forum, and the message was received in the old forum.
I sent it from my team list, not the main page.
I'll check if invitations also go to some dodgy place, and report back to you.

The invitation came in the new forum, but it has HTML tags that are displayed, and not used as html. New users may not see that there's a link.

Yes it is! Thanks!

Thank you very much Tim for fixing the invite:):) and Inge thank you for your patience, it is a virtue and you have it in abundance.

Again thank you both and Tim I know it must be a trying time with the change but you are doing a great job and once all the nasty gremlins are gone it willbe back to smooth sailing and you can then place your focus back on pampering your wife in these last few months of her pregnancy.
