I need help please help!!!!

Hi Everybody,

I can't figure out what the things mean on my StartXchange site like the numbers that shows the credits. I have upgraded but it looks like I haven't upgraded, I upgraded about two or three days ago, and I can't tell if the ASSIGNS is on or not!!!

I would also like to know if I can put two paid email programs into this StartXchange program?

If you need to know the names of the programs then let me know and I will send them to you or if it is ok to post them here then I will post them here!!!

Paid to Read (PTR) and Paid to Click (PTC) email programs are OK
Paid to Promote (PTP) programs are NOT accepted, not even the index or referral page

If your email program has a PTP section, then you may not promote that section on here either.

If you are not sure if the links you want to promote are OK, just send them to the support address below, and I will review them for you :)

you could try banners for the email programs I have had those accepted but then the ones I submitted dont have ptp as far as I am aware

Is there someone that can help me with banners? I don't know anything about banners as far as putting them on other places!!!

I do know how to copy paste. I wouldn't even know where to put them!!!

If someone would be willing to teach me how to do banners I really would appreciate it very much!!! I want to warn you though I have a learning disability so it takes me several times to learn things!!!!

I want you to know I have downloaded my pic so many times til it's not funny.

I had almost gotten to the point of never wanting to do it again. I had my pic on my site and it never failed it would go away before I got back to the site several days later. There were times when I got it up it did show up once in while on the page while I was surfing, but that didn't happen very many times!!!
I do remember I never did click onto the button to generate banners before til a little while ago. I do hope they will stay on here this time!!!!

I did get my pic onto my site and I did generate some banners just a little while ago. So what do I do with them now?

Is it true that we can earn cash from surfing the sites, and if so how long do we have to surf to earn enough amount to be able to receive the money or do we have to exchange it for credits?

I to have learning disabilities and understand how frustrating it is for you the important thing is not to panic and persevere you will get there in the end.

This is for adding your own banners to the exchange not the creating banner page that you were talking about above ok

but if you want to add banners go to the banner page at the bottom of the page you will find two boxes to add your web addresses into the top box is for the BANNER web address ie the image you want to display.
so for example a banner address may look like this
http://www.joybunnysartdesigns.co.uk/testimonial.gif

the banner address will have either .jpg, .gif, or .png or something like that never htm or html

the next one is for the SITE web address that is the destination you want people to go to when they click on the banner.
a destination address may look like this
http://www.startxchange.com/teams/32.html

a site address usually has htm or html at the end so you can tell the difference between the two.

This may seem very basic set of instructions but I find it helpful to be very basic to understand it better and a lot of people without learning issues get it wrong so dont worry about not getting it right. PM me and we can sort it out :)

Hello Kay, it can be somewhat perplexing getting started...

You just need to slow down and take it one step at a time...

First, watch the videos that can be accessed on every page of this Exchange by clicking that TV ICON located in the upper right hand corner and you will see how everything is done...

Second, in the User Control Panel (User CP) you will find how to add a picture into the avatar (side bar)...
Just click on the browse button to find any pictures you have stored on your computer...they usually end with .gif; .jpeg; .jpg; etc. make your selection and hit the SAVE button...Voila, there's your picture...

Third, StartXchange Banners are fairly easy...Just hit the Generate Button and it will upload your picture that is stored in the system...

Fourth, you can place the StartXchange Banners on your website if you have one, any other Exchanges where you are a member, any Program(s) you belong to that accept outside banners...Just follow the instructions on these sites and they can help you if you run into problems...

Anyplace you add Banners has two bars, one is for your Banner Link (URL) and the other is for the destination(site) Link (URL)... For Example:
Banner URL: http://images.startxchange.com/m/msbeejay-banner5.png
Site URL: http://www.startxchange.com/newuser.php?referer=msbeejay
NOTE (StartXchange Banners end with .png instead of .gif; .jpeg; or .jpg)

Just remember to be sure and hit the SAVE button(s) otherwise all your work will be lost...
