I'm trying to get a good understanding about the teams.

If a person joins a team and then decides they no longer want to be a part of that particular team can they cancel their team membership?

Thanks for your time.

Sunnyshine :)

yes you can leave if you feel its not right for you the feature is at the top of the team page

teams can be good to get you incentivised to surf as you are working with people in surfing not just your own efforts try it and see if you are happier alone so be it :)

Yes you can. Just go the the teams page via your members area or http://www.startxchange.com/teams/. Please note the qualify section which is how many clicks (pages you surf on SX) per month you must achieve to remain in the team and not be booted out by the team leader. You can also access the team's "recruiting" page by clicking on the team's name and reading their spiel.

If you have any questions, or if you want to join a private team, please PM the team leader. Once you join a team you cannot join another team for a period of 30 days. You can however, leave the team at anytime.

The number you refer to is how many pages must be surfed to share the monthly bonus credits.

The team has its own definition (if any) what the requirements are to stay in the team.

For instance, our team does not have a surfing requirement. The limit for bonus sharing is 10,000, but as long as a member stays in level 9 or better, he's "safe".

Thanks Inge,

I will try to achieve the level to hopefully be invited to your team.

Well, Sunnyshine, we can't keep track of everyone's surfing level, but you're welcome to send me a request for an invitation.

All you need to stay in our team is to reach level 9 or better within the month.

I hear all the time that our team is the best. One might argue that no one knows all the other teams, but we have a good ranking, and we have a good family feeling.

We welcome everyone's opinion and ideas about how we can improve even more.
A team is just that. It makes the surfing experience much more valuable than surfing alone.

Dear Inge,
i wonder if you have not a surfing limit, how did you achieve the first place last month, and now your team is the second one?

Just i'm curious.

Otherwise my congrats for your team.

What can I say, except we're the best team because we have the best members? :)

We do have a requirement for membership, and to make it simple: Their level should be one digit. That's 1-9.

We have some incentives, internal competitions etc. to make it more fun, and to make us more competitive.

Hei Inge

Hold your horses if not make a poll to see who have the "best" members: :D :D

It's a good idea, Ole, having a poll who is a good/the best member in a team.
Or, maybe how it should be a good team, or why not a good leader :D.

Erzsebet

PS. Thanks Inge for your reply.
