First off "Hit Exchanges are a very simple tool for creating an endless flow of traffic for your business offers. Members sign up and view other peoples web pages in return for hits to their sites using these Highly Effective Targeted Traffic Systems..."

OK, now you are wondering where to go from here? You should spend time getting to know your way around the Exchange...You can familiarize yourself with each area by viewing the videos which can be accessed from the TV ICON that is located in the upper right hand corner of every page!

Be sure to take a look at the "Terms of Service" http://www.startxchange.com/tos.php (http://www.startxchange.com/tos.php) ... It can save you from doing something you shouldn't like "Advertise Outside URLs" which is strictly forbidden in the Forum and Private Message (PM) System...

Advertising is only allowed through your websites, your signature (up to 4 lines in the Avatar or Side Bar) and your banners (either from Programs you are Affiliated with or that you have created using the Banner Creator - http://www.startxchange.com/members/bannercreator.php (http://www.startxchange.com/members/bannercreator.php))...

You can learn about the History and Inner Workings of SX here http://www.startxchange.com/about (http://www.startxchange.com/about) and get even more insight at http://www.startxchange.com/info (http://www.startxchange.com/info) ... After that, check out the "Knowledge Base" at http://www.startxchange.com/kb/ (http://www.startxchange.com/kb/) where some issues have been addressed...

Here's the URL (http://www.startxchange.com/members/websites.php) (http://www.startxchange.com/members/websites.php)) for Adding your site(s) into rotation...It is pretty straight forward, just add the URL for each of your Programs, hit the "Add Button" before going on to the next one, when done wait for Admin to check them (NOTE: If your website is denied and you have control over the website, you may contact Tim Linden, Owner/Admin (xxclixxx) for reasons and ways to fix your site.) Before you do, please check that your website does not:

Break Frames
Use Encrypted Code
Load hidden content or scripts
Break any of the rules listed in the TOS
...And do not forget to assign credits if you want your site(s) to be seen...

Here are some important URLs (replace "yourusername" with yours for example mine is "msbeejay")
Surfbar URL: (For YOUR use only)
http://www.startxchange.com/start.php?username=yourusername
Referral URL: (For telling your friends...Not To Be Used On SX)
http://www.startxchange.com/?referer=yourusername
Splash Page URL: (Only for advertising on other exchanges)
http://www.startxchange.com/splash.php?referer=yourusername

It may seem overwhelming at first, but if you just take it one step at a time, everything will fall into place for you...Remember, the forum community is there to lend you a helping hand when needed, all you have to do is ask and, you can also send messages through the live support system (they will be answered within 24-48 hours)...

God Bless and You need to Surf, Surf, and Surf somemore so your site(s) will be shown!

TIP: What I have discovered is if you watch your surfing habits within the 14 day period, you can control how much your Activity Level/Rank increases or drops!

PS: IF you do post in the forum, please come back and check for responses, OK?

I just want instruction on how to submit a site. I have spent my whole lunch hour trying to figure that out. Very frustrated!!!! Why isn't there a SIMPLE instrution page on how to do that....not videos, newletters, forums, and clicking around on a wild goose chase....just a place to get instructions??? I mean there isn't even a FAQ tab??? This site is way too confusing. I only joined to get a feel so I can see if it's worthy of a top ten list on my informational website, and it definitely did not make the cut. This is one of the worst traffic exchnage sites I've seen over the years!

Guess it's too simple? :)

Just select "websites" from the main menu, and go from there.

Studies have shown that people remember visual instructions better than written instructions, that is why there are videos for help :)

I think you'll find it is called Knowledgebase, and is under the support section ;)

I am sorry you did not understand how to use the system, and did not try to seek help before complaining - we have not only a helpful forum, but also a support address, a knowledgebase (FAQ) and liveperson support.

I am sorry you feel that way and here is the URL to use for "Adding a Website"
http://www.startxchange.com/members/websites.php (http://www.startxchange.com/members/websites.php)...

It is straight forward, just add the URL(s) of any program, then hit the "Add Button"
You repeat those steps until you're done and wait for them to be checked by Admin...

Thank you for pointing out this omission, it has been corrected and hopefully you will reconsider?

Please do not blame the Exchange because I failed to include the instructions in my post...
